Rowdy Rough Roach!

Have you ever been disturbed by a pesky cockroach while you are sleeping in the middle of the night? Well if you gonna ask me, the answer would be yes..a hundred times already! I am really afraid of cockroaches…I already have a phobia when it comes to these pests.. They never leave you alone..they creep and crawl under your bed, inside your room, under the sink, on your garbage can and even inside your shoes!! We have lots of pesticide sprays for these roaches and even if you have sprayed them and scared them away they’ll be back again. They’ll be gone for a little season and then will go back again to disturb you!

I really really hate all house pests especially cockroaches. Cockroaches can’t be easily killed especially the big ones! These roaches varies in different colors and sizes! They can crawl and fly with lights on or off and can swim in the water too (i have encountered a big roach in our bathroom while taking my bath and I tell you they can’t die easily in water even if they fall on a pail of water!).

Why are these rodents ever lived in this world? The answer is because they are created by God. They belong in the Insect Group together with the termites, spiders, moths, bed bugs, grass hoppers, ants and more..

These roaches are very tough and rough! Even if you try to shoo them away they will not go away and even fly above your head or land on your shirt and let you scream at the top of your lungs like me…hehehe..Why can’t these roaches just go away and find another place to live in? Even if your place is clean they will still be there…so the best solution that I can ever think of is clean your bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, stock room or in short the whole house everday to keep those pesky pests away!!

Global Economic Turmoil

The whole world was shocked after Lemman Brothers’ declaration of bankruptcy in the United States. Many banks, stockholders, clients all over the world who have investments/stocks/money on Lemman Brothers were confused and worried. And now what? Many countries have declared that their economy is going down like U.S.A, Kuwait, Lebanon, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Russia, France, Hong Kong, Europe, Indonesia and many others. Stock market all over Asia and Europe is falling! I can’t believe these things are happening..This global economic dilemma that we are facing is really devastating. What’s gonna happen to us if this continues?
Money Crisis! Credit Crisis! Financial Crisis…these sayings are common to poor families in my country. More Filipinos are suffering poverty. It is indeed that we are going to celebrate Christmas and welcome the new year dry! no celebration, no food on the table, no money on your pockets….just you and your family waiting for nothing….
If the economy continues to fall, many people will lose their jobs. OFWs (Overseas Filipino Workers) will be forced to go back to their homeland. Call Centers in the Philippines will be pulled out and thousands of Filipino call center agents will lose their jobs. Recessions in U.S, Singapore and in other countries is really devastating. People around the world are very much affected. Tribulation has started and we must prepare ourselves…

A Single’s Journey

Are you single? Are you afraid that other people will tease you for being single?

Well, I am one of the singles around the world. It doesn’t matter if we don’t have any love life for now. Being single means we have more time for ourselves. Being single is challenging. This is the time to think about the things you really want to do in your life. Pursue your passion, live your dreams and love if you are in love!

My friends always asked me if why at my age I still haven’t got a boyfriend. I always told them that I don’t want to have a boyfriend right now. Even though some guys already proposed their love to me, I just ignored them. There’s more important things in my life that I need to take care of. Boys are not currently on my priority list. Although others say that if you have a special someone you will be more inspired in your daily life..really? But there are other people who can be our inspiration right? like our own family, friends, church leaders, colleagues, teachers, mentors, and of most of all the Lord.

The Lord knows who we are. He knows our thoughts and actions. Let’s make the Lord our guide in our single journey in this life. We many not find the right person to love right now but time will come and the Lord will give you the right person for you to love. Always put God first in all your daily tasks. Do the right things that needs to be done. Being single means there’s so much to do and learn. Love life and learning! Enjoy life being a single. Once you have a partner in your life, you can no longer do the things you are doing when you’re still single. Choose the right path in your life. It doesn’t matter if you can’t get anyone yo date you! It’s no big deal. Being a single person means the Lord has a purpose for you. The Lord wants you to reach your full potentials and to live your life to the fullest.

Make Jesus Christ The Center Of Our Lives

Do you think of Jesus Christ everyday? Do you communicate to our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ through prayer everyday?

Jesus Christ is the only begotten son of our Heavenly Father. He is our Savior; our Redeemer. Jesus Christ bled and died for our sins. Jesus’s atoning sacrifice took place in the Garden of Gethsemane and on the cross of Calvary. In the Garden of Gethsemane He prayed to our Heavenly Father and there He submitted to the will of Heavenly Father and began to take upon himself all the sins of the people. Jesus has sacrificed for us that we may not suffer if we will repent from our sins. He allowed himself to be crucified on the cross and slain for the sins of the world. He allowed himself to die on the cross and then his body was laid on the tomb and was then resurrected.

Jesus Christ is the light of the world. We must come unto him. Without him we are nothing. We must always keep in our mind that we are eternally indebted to him. If we follow and keep his commandments we will receive many blessings. We must always “take upon the name of Jesus Christ”, “always remember him”, “keep his commandments” and “endure to the end”.

Whatever the Lord commands us to do, obey him. He will always provide a way for us. Whatever trials or burdens we are suffering or encountering in this life remember that Jesus will be there to comfort and guide us. He will not give us burdens that we cannot bear. We are brought here in this world to be tried and tested, and to be perfect like him. Let us remain faithful and righteous to Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. They know our weaknesses and strengths. If we obey them, the blessings will be poured upon us.

I know that we our all sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father. Heavenly Father sent Jesus Christ to us because He love us so much. Jesus Christ is our Savior and he loves us that’s why he submitted to the will of Heavenly Father. Let us always put our trust to them. They want us to be happy and they’ll help us grow spiritually. “If we put our trust in them, they will support us in our trials, troubles, afflictions and we shall be lifted up at the last day”.

We Can Make A Difference

I was touched when I’ve watched the music video of Chris Daughtry’s song- “What About Now”. His music video featured some of the very sad and tragic things happened in other countries and how the people suffered from illness, poverty and calamities. I have come to realize that we in our own way can make a difference in our lives and to other people’s lives. If we spread our Love and Care to the people around us then maybe the whole world will be a much better place to live in.

It is not hard for us to share right? Love makes the whole world round so why not share/give our love to the people around us? In our own little way we can help those people who are in need. We can share them some of our food and old clothes or we can offer our services to them. We can pray for them so that their pains and sufferings will ease. Each of us is a child of Heavenly Father. We are all important to him and He Loves us so much. Let us give our Love to all everyday! and not just “give love on Christmas Day”…..

Obama VS McCain

Who do you think is going to win on the upcoming Presidential Election this November 2008? Obama or McCain?

I personaly think that Obama should win the Presidential Election. It’s time for a change. Let Democratic type of government rule America. Enough of the Republicans. Obama’s political will is fine. I know he can rule America well…but it would be better if it’s Hilary Clinton. I really like Hilary Clinton because even if she lost over Obama, she is still continuing her support for Obama hoping that he will win as new president of America.

The End Times

There are so many sad, tragic things that are happening in our world today. Let me identify some of those things that we know and heard from the news on t.v, radio or read on newspapers:

1. Earthquake in China
2. Earthquake in Japan
3. War in the Middle East
4. Chaos in other countries
5. Oil Price Hike
6. Intense Poverty
7. Intense Famine
8. Malnutrition
9. More and more crimes
10. Strong Typhoons that are hitting different places
11. The Change of Climate all over the world
12. Pollution
13. The what we call “Global Warming” is already happening
14. Different Diseases that are hard to cure
15. Suicide Bombings in the Middle East
16. Chaos among Politicians
17. Graft & Corruption
18. Kidnapping
19. Tsunami

….and many other things.

What will be the next?? Aren’t you afraid that this might be the signs that the end of the world is really near??
We really should always be prepared at all times because we never know when will the end of the world will come. Personally, I’m not yet prepared and I’m greatly affected on the things that are happening around my country and all over the world and whenever there are tragic situations happening in different places I always get shock!
This time we really have to be more closer to our Creator. Only the Lord knows what’s gonna happen next. We have to stand firm with steadfastness and faith to our Heavenly Father and his only begotten son Jesus Christ until the end…..
Let us all pray that there will be peace in our world…..Let’s help one another…together we could make this world a better place to live in!

Manny Pacquiao Vs Oscar Dela Hoya

Our Filipino boxing champion Manny Pacquiao will face Golden Boy Oscar dela Hoya in Las Vegas after all….Will Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao win the fight against Dela Hoya?? Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao has won belts in four different weight classes and has gained the title “Pound-For-Pound” king among the Filipinos. He is currently the WBC Lightweight Champion and the WBC Super Featherweight Champion, and was the former Ring Magazine’s featherweight champion, world champion at IBF Super Bantamweight, and WBC Flyweight divisions. Manny is such a great boxer. Everytime he has a fight he never forgets to pray to GOD. He will always carry the Philippine Flag in his heart. He loves all the Filipino. When he has a fight all Filipinos are united with a hope that he will once again win the fight inside the ring. Manny Pacquiao will still have a chance to win against dela Hoya. Manny is of course small and dela Hoya is big but Manny is younger, stronger and faster than dela Hoya. I know he can stand a chance against dela Hoya….let’s hope and pray for Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao’s success in his fight against Golden Boy Oscar Dela Hoya because for sure Dela Hoya doesn’t want to be defeated and he has promised that he will take revenge for his fellow Mexican fighters that were all lost against Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao’s iron fist.

ARE DREAMS REAL?

Where do our dreams go when we wake up in our sleep? Do you have any idea where it goes?? Do you remember all of your dreams when you wake up? Is your dream frightening? horrible? sad? happy? Do you know the purpose of your dream? These are some of the many questions we want to know about DREAMS.

In my own experience, I’ve always wanted to know the interpretation on my dreams but unfortunately no one can interpret it unless Joseph of Egypt or sometimes we call him as Joseph The Dreamer our prophet of old is still alive right?

Based on my research, DREAMS can begin in any of the five stages of sleep and they goes to our subconscious mind when we wake up after a deep sleep.

Here are The FIVE STAGES OF SLEEP:

1st - Light Sleep. Muscle activity slows down. Occasional muscle twitching.

2nd - Breathing pattern and heart rate slows. Slight decrease in body temperature.

3rd - Deep sleep begins. Brain begins to generate slow delta waves.

4th - Very deep sleep. Rhythmic breathing. Limited muscle ativity. Brain produces delta waves.

5th - Rapid Eye Movement (REM). Brain waves speed up and dreaming occurs. Muscles relax and heart rate increases. Breathing is rapid and shallow.

How To Improve Your Dream Recall:

From my experiences, I have dreamed a lot of dreams and sometimes I can’t really recall all of them even if I tried to think about them a lot of times. But I’ve some technics that I’ve been doing in order to improve my dream recall. Here are they:

1. Once you wake up after a sleep, think for about a minute and recall about the dream you’ve dreamed. Then while your dreams are still fresh from your mind, get a piece of paper or notebook then jot down your dreams.

2. Another one is having an alarm clock on your bed side. This one also works to me. Set the alarm time of your clock before you go to sleep. Then go to sleep. Once awaken by the alarm of your clock, get up, and then get your notebook then jot down the dream you’ve dreamed.

3. But if you have some troubles getting up in bed to write down your dreams in a paper, you can also key in your dreams in your cellphone and then save them in your outbox or archive section and don’t forget to put the time and date okay.

Okay, here’s another thing..have you ever tried to think about a certain person, thing, place or happening before you go to sleep and then you dreamed about them?? Well it is indeed true that sometimes like in my own experience, i always think about my crush before I go to sleep and then after that I dreamed about him. So why not try it out? Some says that you can even solve your problems or find solutions to your problems in your dreams.

SO WHAT IS THE MEANING OF OUR DREAMS? HAVE YOU EVER INTERPRETED YOUR OWN OR OTHERS’ DREAM?

Well based on the things that I’ve learned in our psychology class way back in college, if you dream about a sea or ocean and the water is blurry then it means that in reality your life is full of problems. That is already proven based on my experience. Then if you dream about running away from someone who is trying to grab you then it means that you are trying to escape the problems in your life that are still unsolved. Lastly, if you dream about having an ability to fly in the sky but everytime you try to fly you can’t go high in the sky then it means that in reality you are about to reach the top like you’re gonna reach your goal but someone is trying to stop you from reaching it.

Well, these are just some of the many kinds of dreams that we can dream. Just remember that dreams are also important in our lives. They can give us warnings also or they can help you out in your daily activities too because they can give hints about what’s gonna happen next……
